The Art of Interpretation & Teaching Workshop

Join Illinois Extension for a one-of-a-kind workshop that will spark your imagination, sharpen your communication skills, and help you connect more deeply—with nature and with others. Award-winning storyteller, creativity trainer, artist, and listening coach Marilyn Price will lead a fun, immersive day of discovery. Participants will explore how to listen with purpose, communicate more effectively using questions, speak with clarity, and engage different learning styles—all while having a great time. Early and elementary education teachers, Master Naturalists, Master Gardeners, other youth educators and leaders, and those with an interest in the wonders of nature will benefit from the program. The program fee includes lunch. Register for this individual session of the Master Naturalist program at go.illinois.edu/MNTraining2025.
